I'm currently on a shoe spending ban until the end of the year. Some don't believe I can do it, I'm not even sure I can, as I certainly am a shoe addict. I can't pinpoint exactly when my penchant for shoes began, but since my discovery and first pair of Jeffrey Campbells it has only sky rocketed. As my JC collection is now rather burgeoning, I thought I'd try something a little different on my blog and start 'JC shoe of the day' posts. Although I may not post a pair every day, it may be more like every 2-3, I'll work my way through my shoedrobe to create a sort of online archive which will hopefully sustain my shoe cravings until the ban is over. If you guessed that the mystery shoe box contained the Jeffrey Campbell Shadow Stud then you would be correct. They are so insane and remind me a bit of pufferfish when I have a birds eye view of them. Despite how lethal they may look, only the studs around the ankle are sharp and the ones on the inside are flat meaning you can walk without fear of them catching against the other shoe. Although many reviews have said they are really heavy to walk in to be honest I haven't really noticed and find them easier than the Nightwalk. I bet these shoes will gain a lot of attention, and are probably a great form of self defense, as all being said, I reckon they can still cause some serious damage x

Monochrome was the theme for today's outfit featuring a relatively recent arrival, the shatter print denim jacket from Motel Rocks. I'm a huge fan of black and white, and love the unexpected print on a classic jacket style as it adds an air of casual sophistication to the look. (I may love the print so much that I also own the coordinating shorts, and the highwaisted jeans are winging their way to me) x
